Finding The Right Boxing Gloves

The choice of your boxing gloves is essential because of a myriad of reasons. There are various sizes and weights, but it is important to keep in mind that these two elements are not the same. The dimension of the glove can match the glove's weight however, this isn't always the case. 

It is important to consider the weight that your boxing glove must be determined based on the boxing technique you plan to apply. However, the size of the gloves is dependent on getting the perfect fitting. In general, it is typical to find boxing gloves to be through the sizes of small, medium, or large.

It is common to find 8, 10 oz, 8 oz 12, 14 oz, 16 inches, 18 ounces, or 20 OZ gloves. Both the 8oz and the 10 oz are the most popular for boxers who are competitive. These gloves weigh 12oz and are usually for women as well as those who train with smaller hands.

You might be wondering if there is an oz glove in medium, small and large sizes.  It is more typical to find smaller sizes in 12 oz., medium size in 14 oz, and bigger size in 16 oz.

Be sure to keep your hand wraps! Without hand wraps even if your gloves fit comfortably without them, they won't fit!
